Grieve back on top...

Chris Grieve went back to the top of the table with a race win and overall victory at Mallory Park on Sunday. Erstwhile championship leader Dave Newsham retired from the first race with gear selecter problems and also had a lowly finish in the second due to a recurrence. Dave did however bounce back with a win in the final after an entertaing battle with Jamie Clarke. The second heat was won by Peter Morton, the red flags bringing that one to a close when Darren Gaulton's car's ball joint failed at the hairpin.

Driver of the day went to Simon Belcher.
