Morton is magic at Mallory
| There was no question about who won the round at Mallory Park as Peter Morton took his first ever hat trick and the formula's first since John 'Jon' Higgins at Anglesey in August 2003. Derek Pierce won the third heat. Two of the races were punctuated by red flags - Chris Grieve's huge roll in the final being the most lengthy clear up. Thankfully the erstwhile championship leader was unhurt in the incident. Morton's points haul means that he has reclaimed the lead in the championship with Lawrence Davey moving into second place ahead of Grieve and Jamie Clarke. |
